Meet Captain Scott "Sully" Sullivan
Captain Sully operates Renegade Fishing Charters beside Captain Tommy on Outlaw. Sully was born outside of Cleveland, Ohio but moved to the beach when he was 3. He was raised a beach boy and fell in love with the ocean the first time he saw it. Sully started surfing with his father before he could swim. When the waves were too small to surf he would go fishing. His grandfather was a big influence on his love for fishing and boating. He would take Sully fishing in Murrells Inlet & in Lake Erie, where they would load the box with walleye. In 2001 Sully's family relocated to West Virginia. That same year he met his high school sweetheart. Sully's love for fishing would grow while fishing streams and creeks with her. His father in law was also a huge influence on his love for fishing. In 2016 he & his wife moved their family back to the beach. He has tried to instill in his kids his love for the beach, surfing and fishing. Sully was a police officer for 8 years where he spent 5 years on a beach patrol unit. He is a certified lifeguard, CPR certified and has been through numerous Coast Guard schools for boating. It had always been a dream of his to be a charter captain, so in 2020 he began his journey obtaining his OUPV Captains License. In 2021, he operated two different boats as a part-time Captain. When Sully is not working, he loves spending time with his family, surfing, hunting or relaxing on the beach. As his wife says, Captain Sully does not know a stranger. He loves having kids on the boat teaching them how to fish. "I'm beyond thankful to work on the water and getting to live the life of a waterman!"
